Hello everyone.
My name is Victor and I decided to create this blog to help anyone which includes individuals or privately incorporated companies who are taking legal action or have taken legal action against Havey's Restuarants or better known as Cara Corporation.
I am personally aware of one legal issue against Harvey's who is suing this company for loss of income due to a loosely worded legal agreement. The story starts based on a single pro forma that Harveys prepares in order to assess their franchise (purchase) value for that location. Once done the value of the purchase is the responsibility of the franchisee. But the issue is when the franchise fails (sales are less then expected) to live up to that per forma then what happens to the rights of the franchisee ? Is he or she or company still responsible for the franchise cost which was based on the pro forma ? I know of someone who is suing Cara Corporation aka Harveys Restaurants for this very reason.
They are nearing the trial date....its about time...if any one out there wants to share their legal experience or settlement please by all means do because it might help someone.
